Mr. Kim started as a reporter for a well established newspaper in Korea, the JoongAng Ilbo, in 1983 and worked as a member of the social and political departments. After working as an international correspondent, he transitioned to a Washington correspondent.
Following his direction of the launch of the Washington and Atlanta arms of the JoongAng Ilbo, he served as president of the headquarters of the U.S. JoongAng Ilbo, based in Los Angeles.
Mr. Kim manages the American Economic Daily in Washington and New York, Radio Washington AM 1310, as well as serving as a representative of Washington TV, a cyber-platform channel.
Even now, the media is 'the beginning and the end' for him.
He strives to always look at the problems in the world with a reporter's eyes, breathe, and speak.
The media has been his life's work with 40 years of experience behind him.
